- announces W. Dale Young has joined the organization as Senior Vice
President and Chief Information Officer. In this role, he will be
responsible for leading the university's information technology
department with a focus on continuous business process improvement,
expanding academic assessment tools, course delivery systems, and
improving the student and faculty experience.

Mr. Young most recently served as President of DECENT LLC, a business
and technology services company. Previously, he served as CEO of a
system management/outsourcing business based in Asia and as Executive
Vice President of Systems Alliance, Inc., a Maryland-based business and
technology consulting services company.
Prior to those engagements, Mr. Young enjoyed a 25 year career at
PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC (PwC) with various leadership
responsibilities including Vice Chairman and CEO of
PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting Korea, where he worked with his
Partners to build the PwC Korea Consulting business from 100 to more
than 1,400 consultants in three years and gained a 50+% market share.
Mr. Young's other responsibilities included ORACLE Global Practice
Leader and Managing Partner of several PwC practices.

W. Dale Young is a Certified Computing Professional (CCP), earned a B.S.
in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland, and
is a graduate of Harvard University's Delivering Information Services
leadership development program.
