learning provider American Public University System, which operates

plans to release fourth quarter and year end 2008 results after the
close of U.S. financial markets on March 10, 2009.
A live webcast of its fourth quarter and full year 2008 results
conference call will be broadcast at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time on Tuesday,
March 10, 2009. This call will be open to listeners who log in
through the Company's investor relations website, www.AmericanPublicEducation.com.
