American Public University System Adds Bachelor of Arts in General Studies to Its Broad Curriculum

CHARLES TOWN, W.Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 18, 2009-- To enable students to focus on unique areas of study with more flexibility than is possible with a traditional major, American Public University System (APUS), announces a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies. APUS also offers an Associate degree in General Studies through its member institutions American Public University and American Military University. APUS is an accredited, online, university system that serves more than 50,000 working adults studying worldwide. It offers a broad range of more than 75 undergraduate and graduate degree programs in an affordable and flexible format.

The Bachelor of Arts in General Studies is designed for students who want to develop critical thinking skills through the study of several academic disciplines.
