American Public Education to Present at William Blair & Company 2008 Growth Stock Conference

CHARLES TOWN, W.Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 6, 2008--American Public Education, Inc. (NASDAQ:APEI) - parent company of online learning provider American Public University System, which operates through American Military University and American Public University - announced that President and Chief Executive Officer, Wallace E. Boston, Jr. plans to address the financial community at the William Blair & Company 28th Annual Growth Stock Conference in Chicago, Illinois.

Mr. Boston's presentation will begin at 4:20 p.m. central time (5:20 p.m. eastern time) on Tuesday, June 17, 2008.
