Public Education, Inc. (NASDAQ:APEI) - parent company of online
learning provider American Public University System, which operates
through American Military University and American Public University -
announced today that it has filed a registration statement with the
Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed public offering by
it and selling stockholders of up to 3,200,000 shares of common stock,
plus up to 480,000 shares that may be purchased by the underwriters to
cover underwriters' over-allotments. The Company is offering 25,000
shares, and ABS Capital Partners, Camden Partners and other selling
stockholders are offering the balance of the shares.
